it has a handy screw to tighten or loosen the clip which can be done in the field without any tools. 

IMPORTANT

The viewing angle is fixed and not adjustable, the fold flat is adjustable. 
You must select Right or Left handed when purchasing.

A first of its kind

I always wondered why detector manufacturers had not made angled or 170 degree adapters for their machines.Well this fills that gap.I don't watch the screen too often but love the idea of this item. Only one bug , it doesn't quite lock in place.

I'm happy with this mk2 version. Nice and solid. It does what it's supposed to do.

Disappointed

The idea is great, not so good in the field. The clamp keeps slackening and you have to keep tightening it. The controller clip is worse than my original clip, annoying as you detect it feels like you have a wobble.
